I'm Lysa, you may have heard about me?

I wish I could save my brother, Robbie, but I know he's addicted and he has to be the one to want to quit.  Our parents gave up on him, not because they don't love him, but because they can't enable him any longer.  I'm all he has, well, me and his friends.

Some friends they are.  I know he's gone to Glastonbury with them, and I have to find him.

If you see him, let me know.

We've been away for a while, did you notice?

Don't get too comfortable.  It doesn't mean I'm not still working on the ten thousand deaths that Grohah needs.

I watch people, I watch what they do, listen to what they say, how they say it, the tone, the facial expressions, the twitches.

I know when you're lying and I know that you think you can fool me.  That kid Mark thinks he knows everything, but he knows nothing.

Everyone's so concerned with the Olympics, they'll never see me coming.  All those dumb kids at the raves, with their music.  Skrillex, Dubstep, I hear the names, and the lights blur into a fantastical haze when it happens.

Their music is their salvation, and my future.

Ellie Goulding draws the crowds...

Did you see what was in the paper today?  Banks accused of rigging the financial markets.  Barclays at that.  Like do you people really think shit like this doesn't happen?

Just because a nice 'respectable' business like a bank takes your money, that's fine right?  Of course it fucking ain't.

Makes me laugh, email trails, 'Chinese wall's' and people are outraged.

Get a life, get real.  This shit goes down all the time, it's just that you're sitting in your nice little life, in your nice little house, or your dirty little squat, thinking whatever it is you think in your closeted minds.

I know who I am, where I'm from, and where I'm going, unlike some of the apes that work for me.  They do as they're told because they know what's good for them, and they know they're safe with me - unless they cross me.

Like that Finn.  I smell shit around that guy, but I can't pinpoint it.  He says the right stuff and talks the talk.  I'm gonna make him kill that freak, The Baker.  See if he can walk.

Saturday 16 June 2012

So, it seems people want to see what I look like.

If it were up to me, you'd never see me, not unless you were ready to join me in my goal to restore Grohah to the world.

But you're not here for that are you?  Your curiosity wants to see what a raiser of a demon looks like, what the man who would bring blood to the streets of Liverpool looks like.

Well now you know.

You might as well join me voluntarily, because you know you'll be with me eventually.

He promised me eternity.  He promised me everything.  You can have it too, life, immortality, power.

Would you like a biscuit?  Would you like to taste the euphoria?  I have enough for everyone, all you have to do is take a bite.

Marchant.  Yes, that is my name.  People who don't know me sometimes ask about my name.  They seem to think it's unusual, can't figure out if it's a first name or a surname.

Those who do know me, never dare ask anything.

I will find anyone who crosses me.  I have suspicions about Finn.  I think I need him to run a little errand for me, test his loyalty.

And you.  You read, and stay quiet and watch.

And if you learn well enough, you'll keep out of my way.

Sunday 3 June 2012

Hey, I'm Jake.

Wonder what happened?

Marchant is what happened.  As usual.  I've worked for him for all those years, you'd think that would count for something wouldn't you?  Yeah I know, you think I shouldn't have stolen from him, but I couldn't see any other way of getting away from him.  He'd never have let me go start a new life with Kelly, never in a million.

I didn't think he'd go after my family the way he did.  No warning, just dead, just dead.  Sorry, I might sound like I'm not making sense but I can't think, can't let myself think about what he 'd do to Kelly.

So you see?  This was the only way.  Yes?

I had to get her out of the country, and then I figured the only way to keep him away, was to go deal with him myself.

So many things I could have changed but I didn't.  This was the only way of life I knew.  I ran away from home when I was 14, not the best family situation to grow up in, so I left.  Left school too, so no education, but there were far easier ways to make money, so I did.  Started with shoplifting, learned it offa the kids on the street, I did.  Like they say, one thing leads to another and I ended up working with Marchant, doing the shit he wouldn't do himself.  Why would he, when he had enough people willing, and more than able enough to do it for him?

At first, in my early twenties it was great.  Plenty of money, women, and any other vice you can think of.  I could have had a different woman every night back then, but I didn't want that.  Not saying I never had girlfriends, I did, just never met anyone special enough that I wanted to stay alive for.  Until, as you know, I met Kelly.

And I never wanted a life without her, but I couldn't continue my way of life with her.

Easy choice really, the hard thing was carrying out the plan.

I'll tell you more later, got a few errands to run.

Jake.
